This Snow White {the one I'm in} is unlike any before. There is no evil stepmother. I'm here to explain a few things. There will be more posts like this, later.
Our first subject is.......
MARIGOLD!
Marigold wears only red and gold, sometimes mixed with other, darker colors. Her signature braid is threaded with small pearls. She has a mysterious scar on her face, from where nobody knows. Nobody understands why Marigold's lips are brown, but they can tell you one thing- it's not lipstick.
Marigold hungers for power, and believes a good, powerful and wealthy image can make people believe you have power. Marigold has the rare ability to sweet talk- making you believe wholly in what she says.
MYTHS OF MARIGOLDS SCAR:
Many myths have been told about the the power hungry princess, from one land to another. What they do not know, is that this strangely beautiful princess lives-
'' ''Once there was a beautiful princess, who's name was as true as she was. Marigold, she was called. Everything about her was gold, except for one ugly thing- the scar on her face. When she was a child, she would often sweet talk her mother into getting what she wanted- which was too much. Finally the mother was very, very angry. ''Marigold!'' she called, ''Come here!'' Marigold came, already about to ask for what she wanted next. But the mother took Marigold by surprise. Marigold's mother took out a long, nasty knife, and carved the word ''NO'' into Marigold's face. She allowed the doctors to apply healing medicine to all but one part of the word. A long scar now is on Marigold's face, reminding her never to be so selfish again.'' {- From Annie Woodman, District 2}
The prize Marigold currently has her eye on is a prince from faraway lands, who is yet to see her beautiful stepsister, Snow White! Marigold will do anything to keep the prince from seeing Snow White- even hurting and betraying her sister.
So, I hoped you liked it! I wonder what the next topic will be in...
